yeap. it our harbourfront office very own SHE day ! SHE = Safety,Health & Environment Day & i am part of the committee.

today is suppose to be the big day filled with lots of fun & freebies.

i was the mascot of the day and moving around across the floors to distribute the goodie bags ! well...like the blood drop mascot, it nice to see but never nice to be in one. it just damn tiring and sweaty in it. buttt..... u get to make everyone else smile and laugh ! that why i love doing it !!!

in the end, i ended up stinky and smelly 2hrs into the day.

it was not the end.... 4pm we send out an email blast telling everyone of the free massage. omg..... yeap. the response was simply fabulous.

we got the visually handicapped to come do the shoulder & back massage and of cuz a good buffet spread of tea time snack. that would be the combo ! good foood & massage. it sure does work !

last but not least.... we had a lucky draw !

simply a fabulous day & job well done to all of us. andd.... im tired. i mean i realli am.

finally something that didnt quite require my action pop into my inbox flooded with emails.

well. at least it got me smiling and a minute off from killing my brain cells.

im getting all excited. it the races this weekend at seletar, the Jurong Island races. Don't get me wrong. i aint that excited about races considering i have been rowing for years. It the bbq after that is on my mind. hehe...

it gonna be the biggest ever that im trying to plan and i hope it be a blaast ! 50pax, lots of food & beer. i hope it be a success.

i was so stressed at work that i grab the bottle of peanut butter & finish it all up.

i finally start bloggin again.

End of Day2 races. didnt win but surpass expectations. overall - successful !

it's the time of the year again where bedok reservoir comes to life. we the passionate rowers will flock from all over sg armed with our paddles, lifejackets and some bumpads hoping to emerge as winners for the day.

i as a proud rower of both exxonmobil dragonboat team as well as the np alumni team thinks that i am still the same old cowan 5years ago. guess i was wrong ~!  4 races , a total of 3.2km of intense rowing sure got my tongue sticking out.

so much so for race preps. back in sch days we used to carbo load before the races but now ? haaa. i think this whole week i have been non stop eating. all those lunche meeting have somehow killed me.

started since monday, i had japanese food for lunch. sakuraya at anchorpt with our operator and i ate like tons of raw sashimi. tues was at sun with moon at central for lunch with another operator. thurs nite was at esplanade with wk for dinner at the korean bbq over a mentoring session.

today ? by far the best...was at st regis ! the very new 6star hotel at tanglin area. i was there to attend an offsite meeting for this year blooddrive. lunch was at tian yin a chinese restaurant and oh boy was it class. the hotel is pretty nicely decorated and live up to it's 6star reputation.

after savouring such a wonderful lunch where i am so trying to get my hands on the photos taken so that i could post it online, we headed to the meeting room and started our brainstorming. this year i aint gonna be the mascot like the 2 previous yr. i got a more important role and im actually the team lead for the hbf lobbying. wow that a huge responsibility as i be trying to get my hands on donors to bring in more bags of blood.

nothing is free in life. there always a price to pay after having such a nice place for lunch and meeting. i be getting more busy but well it for a good cause so why not ! come this october i be haunting for blood like a vampire. u better be there to help to. 2bags each

my boss has confirmed. we are going to qingdao this coming october. i was like scratchin my head and asking " where the hell is this place in china? "

i did a quick wikipedia search and i saw something familiar......

haaa. so this is the place for the famous tsingtao beer!! not again.... it never a good news for cowan when it comes to drinkin.... but yet again it china, people drink ! im so gonna get drunk again.

i yet to know what else is there. heard that it's a coastal area so i expecting a nice view of the sea perhaps ?

if there is one sport i sux at it ... it must be golf. my ball can hardly fly and i never hear a clean shot taken at all. gosh ! how bad can that be on my first lesson to the game. i think i do better whackin the ball with my paddle or perhaps give me a bigger ball. i shd be realliy grateful that my club didnt flew.  =(

guess it not about patience that i need, rather more of perserverence

since the day i no longer own a camera i call my own i have been not uploading as fast or bloggin as fast as others. =(  shots taken at holland v, dinner at crystal jade kitchen. it was far too difficult to plan for a superb birthday for the old man who always party like hell. so we decided to throw him a simple dinner and surprise him with the prezzie in the dimsum container. totally caught offguard ! haaa... hope u like it man.

was trying to connect my phone to my computer and found some photos that i took when i was in nanjing, china.

seeing the uncle kitten (ethan) makes me feel like wanting to go for one...

was at pageone the other day flipping thru the books to see if there any nice one that i would consider putting it on.

saw one that i kinda like but aint too sure where it would be on.

i kinda like one on my wrist but kinda met with strong objections and disagreements.

finally.

i got my hands on the boxers that kimmy got for me from japan. yuppie. burberry black label.

on one of the drive to work, i saw a picanto behind me stoppin at a traffic light. a lday driver in a small cutie red car and what she did simply make my jaw drop.

who say women cannot multi task ? this women stopping at the traffic light, lifted her cup for a sip of coffee, took a big bite out of her sandwich and while chewing starting to work on her eyelashes and still got time to put on her cardigan. all in the span of the traffic light. gosh....... u realli call this multi tasking.

well do u think we guys could do it ? i thought about it and glance to the uncle beside me driving his lancer. in a minute, he juz did something as wonderful at the traffic light. he scratch his left knee then his balls followed by digging so happily in his right nostril. expression show me he found gold in it, look at it, wind down the window and fling it out. how that ??   marvellous.....

so next time when u drive look ard ... i bet u see something juz as interesting.

If you ended up somewhere near Ikea at alexandar and u are in need for a bite. perhaps you can drop by at anchor point. the renovation did really pull in the crowds over the weekends.

adele, mk and i was there for dinner. i was simply stone out after a restless nite, 2 dragonboat sessions as well as work again...

nothing beats having sashimi ! lovin it like always. it's quite a nice little place that serve neat but not fantastic jap food. if you are down at the area, do try it.

 goodness ! the weekend is over. i hardly manage to find time of my own. you could tell from the freq that i blog. i kinda got tired of trying to fix my com and get online. as of now , im using my dad com.

a crazi weekend i would say. didnt even have quality sleep. well... it's not due to euro08 as i kinda forgo soccer since the days i got burned betting heavily on it. it's actually work.... well getting calls at 2am, 4am and even 6am. how do u think i can get to sleep well. i do miss undisturbed sleepbut i still somehow like my job. stressful but its' the kick u get after solving the issues make it all so rewarding.

it so bad that sometimes i juz throw everything aside and head down to sentosa. that what i did on fri when i simply juz drove in to km8 for a jug of ice lemon tea before i get back to work again. it does help !

im actually passing my camera to my dad. he needs it more then i do...for work i mean. that means i be not able to camwhore more often now. oohhh...that be sucky.
